Items needed:

Two wooden platforms, anchored in the water off Blacks Beach

One proctor

Three prizes - Pair of swords for 1st, Gladius for 2nd, a peasant bow for 3rd

 

Two platforms are floated in the water off Black Beach. They are anchored in the middle so they cannot float away. One man gets on each platform and spars. Standard rules of etiquette are to be observed for spars in the Schendi Arena. To win you either win the spar or knock your opponent off their platform. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes shall be awarded. A finely crafted pair of swords for first, a gladius for second, a peasant bow for third.

 

Standard caste dice for combat. Spars to 15. Rolls of 23 or more on both dice is an automatic knock off the platform. Combat order will be in the order people sign up. For this to work we must have an even number of participants. After the combat is finished, with a single elimination, the prizes will be awarded. If there is an odd number of participants, the last name will be dropped and given a door prize of a new dagger.
