I hope all is well with everyone and your enjoying the last days of summer. School starts soon for most everyone so hopefully, things will pick up around here.. this summer has really been quiet.

Most of you have probably heard by now that the mun of the player Bandarius passed away this past week from cancer. I have known him for as long as I can remember, he was always a fixture in the arena. His companion of many years, Talarie Kell was one of our merchants. My sympathy goes out to his family and to all the players who called him a friend, he will be sadly missed.

I have been informed that Port Kar is now back to normal. They are no longer at odds and would welcome any Merchants looking for a home. If you wish to relocate, please contact Ezekiel Malice for further information.

The lovely City of Jasmine is rebuilding and also looking for Merchants to settle. Jasmine is a Member of the Vosk League and in a prime location. Contact Katie if anyone is looking to relocate.

Well folks, its time. My second term as first chair of the Caste is almost up. I wish to thank everyone for their support this past year. The caste is again a strong force within Gor and thank you all for your hard work. I will be taking nominations for all chairs and lower caste judge for the next 10 days. From today til Monday the 10th, I will take nominations.. people nominated will be contacted and if interested, a short summary as to why they wish to run and what they can offer will be asked for.. Voting will be open for 2 weeks... Then ballots will go out. The main box will be opened then for voting.. I do not plan on running for any chair. Its time to let some new blood in.. I will oversee the elections. If someone would like to help that is NOT going to run, get in touch with me.. You can all send nominations to me starting NOW. Please read the guidelines on the web site.. make sure that the person is a REGISTERED merchant and is eligible. In the subject line, please put caste nomination.. Good luck to everyone.
