A large tropical storm has been reported building in the NorthWest.
At its current course and size, it is expected to make landfall on the Western Islands at the end of the hand.
This storm should bring with it, torrential rain, hurricane force winds, with a possibility of tidal waves.

As it moves south and east, it is expected to hit the coast shortly there after, first Port Kar, Bazi then Schendi,
losing momentum as it moves farther down the coast.

The Gorean Times urges everyone in the storm's path to make preparations to protect your citizens
and property from flooding and damaging winds.

We urge that carrier birds be sent to all fleets and private vessels in this area including the storm advisory
with instructions to head for the closest safe harbor.

The Isle of Ivory and Bone would like to send a heartfelt thanks to all those who have sent
supplies and aid to the Isle following the hurricane's destruction. Ships are entering the harbor daily
loaded with blankets, foodstuffs, clothing, bolts of cloth, needles and threads, children's toys.
Many have sent men to help with the search through the rubble and craftsmen to help with the rebuilding
of homes and businesses.. Among those who have offered aid are Ryker Drethren of Skerry Einar,
Captain Jack Gant and the Isle of Gortuga, Shank Roten and the City of Brundisium, Crymsongx and the City of Sais, and Katie Brant of the City of Lydius.

The search for Khil still goes on... as our men go out daily searching the jungle for any sign of him.
Lastly, a huge thank you goes to our citizens, guards and residents who have worked tirelessly in the clean up effort.. despite tragic losses..
