Effective immediately the
City of Tor is halting all import and export
trades of all kind, and canceling all trade
agreements that was once honored by the City of
Tor. Furthermore all territories claimed by Tor
is annexed until an effective army is in place
to secure its borders and all conquered
territories. Any City, House, Territories, or
groups who wish to set up trade with the City of
Tor must send an envoy to meet with the
En-Merchant of the City and the Ubar with an
import and export list of what you wish to trade
or what you wish to receive from the City.
Failure to do so will result in all caravans not
registered with the Merchant Department of Tor
to be turned away from the gates. Thank you for
your cooperation. If you have a problem with
this decision you may come to Tor for a meeting
with the Ubar, and while your there you can set
up a meeting for caravan routes.

All newly constructed ships have been crafted from the finest
materials and have passed all inspections.
We do have a small selection of ships being auctioned that are not
newly constructed as well.
Each ship will be detailed so that the bidders are fully informed of
what they are bidding on.
Every ship is ready for delivery!
Pre-registering for this event is highly recommended!
Registering at or during the event will be at the discretion of the
attending Event Scribe.
Participants may only bid and spend up to the pre-determined amount
of gold during each event.
Every participant will be need to be prepared to pay for your
winning(s) upon the conclusion of the auction.
An account has been established with the Bank of Besnit to handle
the deposits and transfers via bank drafts.
An attending Scribe will be authorized to issue bank drafts as
necessary at the time of the auction.
Serious bidders are encouraged to transfer appropriate funding to an
account for their convenience.
It is not generally considered wise to carry large sums of gold on
your person.

The auction is being conducted
IN CHARACTER by shipwrights registered with the
RBCoG, LBGor, SGSG, BUG and/or the BRoG.

All ships are newly constructed
vessels or put up for auction by the current
owner of the vessel.

Ships for auction are not
"stolen" from deleted/dead characters.

The muns of the builders came
together and created a pool of ships for the
purpose of encouraging roleplay opportunities.

All ships are registered with
the Armada of Gor Ship Registry.

The AoG is an OOC entity and
therefore cannot host this IC auction.

There is no such thing as a
universal warehouse where "lost" ships are
kept.

Any City can host the auction,
even without water.

Ships won will be delivered out
of the ports in which they were constructed.

how much coin your character will be able to
have available.

Each auction will have at least
one of the builders present to describe each
ship, answer questions, and direct the bidding
process.

Each auction will have a
registered Scribe in attendance for the purpose
of counting bids, monitoring coin exchange, as
well as record keeping.

Upon Registering for the Ship Auction, each
participant will be asked to go into a chat room
with one of the following as witness:
Admiral Brakkus, Gwyneth Trevane, Meira Shayne, Patch
Muhrda, or Valera Muhrda.
High Caste Characters & Merchant Caste Characters
(including sub-castes) will roll 3d10 x 100 gold.
Low Caste Characters will roll 2d10 x 100 gold.
For example, if you are a Slaver (sub-caste of Merchants)
you roll 3d10
7 2 9 = 18 x 100
= 1800
That is how much gold the character will be able to bid up
to.
Another example, if you are a Kitchen Master you roll
2d10
4 3 = 7 x 100 = 700
That is how much gold the character will be able to bid up
to.
The minimum amount of gold that anyone will be able to
have is 500 gold.
** NOTE **
For those that have not pre-registered, or those that have
not rolled for coin, an amount will be assigned to
your character. Rolls will be made prior and the
numbers added so that things flow smoothly and there
is less of a delay for players.
We ask that you not tell others the amount of gold you
have to bid, but that is your option.
Just remember, the person you tell might want that ship
more than you do.
Auction Staff will have the information available so that
people do not bid more than they have.

Pyre for Ryan BlckHrt of Koroba
Last Night, 1st day of Fifth Hand of the Month of
Daluni (5) in the year 10,158 CA
the warriors Ryan Blckhrt of KoRoBa and Hector
Vellis of Cos fought a Death Match.
Both warriors fought honorably.
The Warrior Ryan Blckhrt of KoRoBa was killed. Many
will mourn his death.
Ryan leaves his companion Heidi Dorri and many
children.
The match was fought with no quarter wished by
either warrior.
A Pyre is being held on Sunday, August 10th at 9pm
EST.
All who wish to pay their respects in memory of the
Honorable Ryan Blckhrt are welcome to attend
